Thank you for applying to Holy Fire Discipleship School (HFDS) with Open Heaven’s SOZO International.
True discipleship means we must surrender ourselves completely to Him; we must identify with Him in suffering and death; and we must follow Him obediently, wherever He leads. If we live for ourselves, we will lose ourselves, but if we lose ourselves for His sake and the Gospel’s, we will find ourselves.

The mission of our discipleship program is to equip you to live out the Great Commission given to us in Matthew 28:19-20. Jesus said to His disciples, “All authority on heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” The mission of every believer is tied to the commission that Jesus gave his initial disciples. He told them to go into the world spreading the good news of the gospel, pointing people to Christ, and teaching them the truth that Jesus deposited in them. Our discipleship program will encourage you to dig deeper into scripture, examining what Jesus taught, what he did, and how he lived–ultimately pushing you closer to the image of Christ–what Paul declares is the ultimate destiny of every believer (Romans 8:29), and immersing you in love & grace-driven community family here at Open Heaven’s SOZO.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
When you join the discipleship program, you will be joining a group of like-minded hungry believers who want to spread the good news of the gospel! Every Thursday we will meet at Open heaven’s for school in person or via Zoom for out of area disciples!
Studies will focus on Identity, how to love like Jesus loved, serving well, cultivating community within our church family, As a disciple you will learn, SOZO – Healed Saved Delivered- Made Whole, entering into his presence in worship, power of fasting, how to develop a Christ-like character, Matt 6:6 developing an intimate prayer life with the father, learning how to operate in the gifts of the spirit, build integrity and maturity in your walk and within the body, prepare you for future positions of responsibilities, developing spiritual authority, spiritual warfare, spiritual influence, deliverance training, Inner healing training, Sozo, leadership, understanding and operating in the fivefold ministry, evangelism, and mission work, commitment, desire, discernment, decision-making, discipline, dwelling in the Word, and dependence on the Holy Spirit.

Open Heaven's SOZO has a short-term young adults Revival mission trip for June 16th - 23rd of 2024. We will be headed to Entebbe Uganda for the Holy Fire and Awakening Crusade.
Revival is nothing more than the outpouring of Gods Spirit stirring in the hearts of his people in unity and vision to seize what is already theirs in Christ (2 Peter 1:3) and then unleashing them to take the Good News to the world. Matt 28:18-20
We are asking God to release Holy Fire 🔥 in the hearts of this rising generation in areas of purity, wholeness, deliverance, freedom, intimacy and revelation of Gods Goodness for his people.
We are praying that, on June 18th thru june 23rd, 50,000 + young adults, young pastors, and young married couples across the nation will be inspired, equipped and unleashed to spread the hope, glory and love of Jesus Christ across the nation of Uganda!
We are believing God that these young adults can impact a nation. If one can put a thousand to flight, and two 10,000, how much more can God do! We are begging God for something more than just another event or crusade. We are asking for a movement…a spiritual awakening and expansion of his kingdom of Biblical proportions to take a nation by 🔥 fire.
When you volunteer with Open Heaven’s SOZO, you have the opportunity to engage in service ministries, daily projects and outreaches, that have a lasting impact on you, the local residents and communities that we are sent to impact.
Service ministries include but not limited to, praying for the sick to recover, Inner Healing, casting out demons, intercession during service, ministering to those who are emotionally, physically and spiritually broken, praying for marriages, daily devotionals, and prophesying, fun and games with the local community.
This ministry of inner healing and deliverance is not an end in itself but a means for effective healing, discipleship, training, freedom, and releasing destiny in someone’s life. We desire to see people restored and able to disciple nations through these conferences.
From organizing service projects to helping lead Jesus-centered outreaches that sparks deep conversations and daily encounters, our mission trips are designed to help youth, young adults and adults grow in their relationship with Jesus in family, community and their daily lives.
Our short-term mission trips range from 7-10 days and are perfect for high school students, teens, youth groups, and adults. Our trips span across North America, South America, Central America, Europe, and Africa.
Whether you’re looking for a summer mission trip, or a custom trip, we offer affordable year-round mission trips for any-sized group.
